The Office of Sexual and Relationship Violence Support Services
The Office of Sexual and Relationship Violence Support Services was created to educate students about safety and protection against violence. The SRVSS provides resources to everyone on campus, and covers topics like personal safety, sexual assault, rape, relationship violence, and stalking. Kent State is one of the safer colleges compared to others, but SRVSS is continuously developing new ways to improve security on campus. Office of the Student Ombuds
The Office of the Student Ombuds is connected with the Division of Students Affairs, located at 250 Kent Student Center, and can be contacted by the number 330-672-4050, or the email address email@example.com. The Student Ombuds serves as a resource for members of the university community to work through complaints being either academic or personal. They provide objective and strategic information to help interpret policy and procedure.
Center for Student Involvement
The Center for Student Involvement is basically where everything happens. They have the list of Student Organizations and provide information about a lot of the events that take place on Campus. If you want to get involved with leadership and student-initiated projects, this is the place to go. This is also where you can look up information about Fraternities and Sororities if you were interested in joining one. To provide students with a resource to assist them in the process of writing, Kent State has created the Writing Commons, a place students can go to get help in organizing and editing their writing. It is available to all students no matter their year, major, or level of writing proficiency with any type of writing assignment. They provide assistance at every stage of the writing process, from the initial composition to the final revision.
