State of Play

This project was based in the idea of allowing myself to have fun and exercise artistic freedom without stressing over technicality or putting pressure on myself to execute something perfect.
Everything in the images was created by me except for the image of Madison, which included a pattern found from Google. My friends let me paint their faces, except for, again, Madison, who’s face was already painted in the photo I used. Everything included in the pages involves some element of play or happiness, or some lack of stress. No matter what, it is supposed to be about joy and freedom. I’m glad I did this project the way I did. I think the experimentation has opened my mind to being in a state of play in the rest of my studios and surprisingly enough, even in social aspects in my life.
